Harvard Square Event

Join us for an enlightening evening centered around plant-based living, hosted in collaboration with the Boston Vegetarian Society and supported by the Harvard Square Business Association! Hear from BVS and Harvard University experts in a casual, yet impactful conversation designed to inspire and engage attendees on the ethical, environmental, and health benefits of a plant-based diet.

Speakers

David Havelick: David Havelick is a Board Member of the Boston Vegetarian Society and an Associate Director at Harvard University's Office for Sustainability. David, who has been vegan since 2008, is passionate about the ethical, environmental, and health benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. He plays a key role in organizing the Boston Veg Food Fest, the longest-running veg festival in the U.S., now in its 29th year.

Sparsha Saha is a Lecturer in Harvard University’s Department of Government, specializing in political behavior with a focus on meat politics and animal rights. Her research has been featured in various academic journals and major media outlets. In 2022, she was honored as Harvard’s South Asian Woman of the Year.
